Luxury Dining Space Design in Gulshan-2, Dhaka

This luxury dining space is part of a 3,200 ft² apartment in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, where DIT Studio has designed an elegant entertaining area that seamlessly connects to the living room and kitchen zones. The design features a marble-top dining table for eight, a built-in crockery display cabinet, and a cohesive cream-and-grey palette accented with gold-toned lighting fixtures.

Marble Dining Table with Cream Chairs and Gold Pendant Lights

The opening view presents an eight-seater dining arrangement centred on a grey area rug. The rectangular dining table features a white-and-grey marble top supported by dark metal T-shaped legs. Eight cream upholstered mid-century-style chairs with light wooden legs surround the table, which is set with green apples, a black vase with dried foliage, and glasses of orange juice. Overhead, three gold-and-black ring pendant lights hang at varying heights from a coffered ceiling with warm LED cove lighting. A matte-black ceiling fan with a wooden motor cap occupies the centre. On the rear wall, a geometric abstract painting in black, rust, and beige tones hangs above a wall-mounted split AC unit. To the left, a white panelled door with frosted-glass diamond inserts leads to the kitchen, and a low white sideboard with a coffee machine and cups sits against the wall.

Open-Plan View Connecting Dining and Living Areas

This wider angle shows how the dining space flows into the adjacent living area. A white geometric room divider with open shelving separates the two zones, allowing visual continuity. The dining table and cream chairs are visible on the left, while a large grey L-shaped sofa, a round coffee table, and layered taupe curtains define the living room on the right. The coffered ceiling with cove lighting and ceiling fans extends across both spaces, unifying the open-plan layout.

Built-In Crockery Cabinet and Serving Counter

The focal wall of the dining area features a wall-mounted white display cabinet with five glass-front doors, internally lit with downlights to showcase stacked grey plates, champagne flutes, mugs, and serving dishes. Below, a freestanding white panelled serving counter with a light wood top holds a toaster, a coffee cup, a small plate of pastries, and miniature potted plants. Flanking the cabinet, two white panelled doors with frosted-glass geometric inserts provide access to the kitchen on the left and a hallway on the right. Through the right doorway, the master bedroom’s TV wall is visible, highlighting the apartment’s interconnected layout.

Dining Table with Crockery Cabinet and Kitchen Entry

The final image captures the dining table from the opposite end, showing the marble top laden with fresh fruit, blueberries, and dried floral arrangements. The built-in crockery cabinet and serving counter are visible on the back wall between the two decorative doors. Two gold-and-black ring pendant lights and the ceiling fan hang above the table. Through the right doorway, a glimpse of the living room reveals a TV screen and part of the grey sofa, demonstrating the open-plan flow of the entire apartment.
